This 2 days 1 night trekking journey rides the legendary Ha Giang Loop — Vietnam's most dramatic mountain road, roughly 300 km north of Hanoi on the Chinese border. The route links Hoang Su Phi, Thong Nguyen and Nam Hong Village across the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark, a landscape of stone forests, deep canyons and switchback passes.

Ha Giang is at its best in September–November (golden rice harvest and clear skies) and again from late February to April (plum and buckwheat blossom); summer months can bring heavy rain and landslides.
