This 3 days 2 nights adventure into Phong Nha-Ke Bang — a UNESCO World Heritage site in Quang Binh, home to the planet's greatest caves — is operated by Oxalis Adventure, the licensed specialist for the Tu Lan and Son Doong cave systems. The route takes in Hang Tien 1 & 2, Tu Lan Cave System, Jungle trails and Natural swimming pools.
This is a join-in small-group expedition (join-in, max 10 guests) with professional guides, safety assistants and porters to international safety standards. Adventure level: Challenging. Price: 8,000,000 VND (~$302) per person.
Oxalis Adventure holds the operating licence for these caves and runs every tour with cave experts trained by the British-Vietnam Cave Expedition team. Spread across 3 days 2 nights, the expedition includes wild jungle/cave camping with full logistics — meals, tents and safety gear all provided. Group size is capped for safety and conservation.
For active travellers comfortable with multi-day trekking, swimming and basic technical caving with ropes. All equipment, safety briefing and trained staff are provided.
Cave tours run seasonally (most operate roughly January–August/September; some longer) and routes are weather dependent — paths can be muddy and slippery in rain and may be modified for safety.
