Option 1: Historical and Scenic Exploration
Day 1: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave
Depart from Hanoi by limousine bus and explore Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, home to the temples of King Dinh and King Le. Enjoy lunch with traditional Vietnamese cuisine before a peaceful boat ride in Tam Coc, often called “Ha Long Bay on land.” In the afternoon, climb Mua Cave for a panoramic view over rice fields and limestone mountains. Overnight at a bungalow or hotel in Ninh Binh.
Day 2: Bai Dinh Pagoda – Trang An
After breakfast, visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest Buddhist complex in Vietnam, featuring impressive bronze Buddha statues and spiritual architecture. Continue to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex for a boat trip through caves and valleys. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
