Boat trip on Huong river, visiting Minh Mang's tomb, Thuy Bieu village
Start your day with a transfer from your hotel to visit Emperor Minh Mang's tomb, an architectural masterpiece that seamlessly blends natural beauty with imperial religious elements. Though planned during Minh Mang’s reign (1820–40), the tomb was constructed by his successor, Thieu Tri, with the labor of ten thousand workers and artisans.
Next, embark on a boat ride along the Huong River (Perfume River) to Thuy Bieu Village, taking in the picturesque landscapes on either side. After an hour, you’ll arrive at Thuy Bieu, renowned for its fragrant grapefruit trees. Enjoy a bike ride through the village, shaded by these trees, and take in their delightful aroma and the scent of harvested straw. The village exudes a peaceful atmosphere at every turn. Visit a temple dedicated to the village protector and a traditional garden house that dates back several centuries. This is a fantastic opportunity for photography and to interact with villagers tending to their gardens and vegetable fields.
