Boat trip, visiting Minh Mang's tomb, excursion to Thuy Bieu village, Thien Mu pagoda & Hue citadel
At 8:00 AM, we'll begin our day by departing from the hotel to visit Emperor Minh Mang's tomb, an extraordinary architectural gem that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings and imperial religious structures. Although conceived during Minh Mang’s reign (1820–1840), its construction was completed by his successor, Thieu Tri, with the labor of ten thousand skilled workers and artisans.
Following this, our journey continues with a scenic boat ride along the Huong River, also known as the Perfume River, leading us to Thuy Bieu Village. This village is renowned for its fragrant grapefruit orchards, where you can explore by bicycle under the shade of these aromatic trees and immerse yourself in the tranquil rural atmosphere. Don't miss the opportunity to visit a temple dedicated to the village protector and capture memorable moments while interacting with villagers tending their gardens and fields.
Recharge your battery with a delicious lunch prepared in the heart of Thuy Bieu village. Move to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's spiritual heartthrob, erected in 1601. As you gaze upon the breathtaking vista of the Perfume River snaking through the landscape, allow the pagoda's serenity to wash over you.
Following our exploration, we'll return to the city center to visit Hue Citadel, a significant symbol of Vietnam's former imperial city. Modeled after Vauban's fortifications, Hue Citadel is divided into three main parts: Kinh Thanh (the Capital City), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial City), and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City). Within this grand complex lie some of Hue's most magnificent landmarks, including the flag tower, South Gate, Palace of Supreme Harmony, Dynasty temple area, and residential quarters. These sites encapsulate the rich cultural and historical heritage of Hue, offering a glimpse into its imperial past.
Back to your hotel in the late afternoon. In the evening, free to explore the city.

Hoi An city tour: Cam Pho, Chua Cau, Quan Thang ancient house, Phuc Kien assembly hall, center market
We'll swing by your hotel at 9:00 AM to whisk you away on a Hoi An adventure. This town isn't your average spot. Back in the day (15th to 19th centuries), it was a bustling Southeast Asian trading port. Thankfully, the Old Town is like a time capsule, perfectly preserved. Keep your eyes peeled for the cool mix of cultures that left their mark on everything from the architecture to the way people practice religion and go about their day. You'll even get a taste of the town's authentic vibe.
Up first on our Hoi An exploration is Cam Pho, a true gem and one of the oldest communal houses here. Designed in the form of a Chinese character, it represents a place where people worshiped, traded, and shared cultures. Imagine this spot as a historic hub where locals, Chinese merchants, and even Japanese traders came together centuries ago.
Continue our stroll through Hoi An, soaking up the local atmosphere. Next up is Quan Thang Ancient House, a true gem of Hoi An architecture. This house is considered one of the most authentic, boasting intricate carvings and structures crafted by skilled artisans from the renowned Kim Bong carpentry village. Stepping inside Quan Thang is like stepping back in time, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of a traditional Hoi An family.
Find out more with a trip to the Phuc Kien (or Fujian) Assembly Hall regarded as a meeting point for residents, traders, and visitors from Fujian province in China. It also holds religious significance as a place to honor the Thien Hau deity. Discover the courtyard's vibrant fountains, admire the intricately decorated gates, and be awestruck by the magnificent carved dragons adorning the main hall.
Last but not least, Bustling Hoi An Center Market is a must-visit for any explorer. Here, you'll find a dazzling array of stalls overflowing with delicious and affordable food. From fresh produce like vegetables, meat, and fish to all sorts of local specialties, your senses will be on overload!
Rest of the day you are free to discover city or travel back to hotel. End of services.
