Cu Chi Tunnels by Boat and Cao Dai temple – 01 Day

Morning
Hotel Pickup: Early in the morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby and bring you by car to your boat at Tan Cang pier.
Speedboat Departure: Depart from Saigon by speedboat. Within 15 minutes, the banks of the river transform from city sprawl to lush jungle. Enjoy a light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits, and Vietnamese iced coffee (Ca phe sua da) as your guide explains rural traditions and aspects of riverbank life.
Arrival at Cu Chi Tunnels: Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels site before the majority of larger bus tours. Start with a brief introductory ‘propaganda’ video about the Cu Chi area.

Late Morning
Exploration of Cu Chi Tunnels: Explore the Cu Chi site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnels, and visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunition storage, etc.). Experience the firing range and try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years.

Noon
Transfer to Cao Dai Temple: Depart for Cao Dai Holy See Temple in Tay Ninh province, a unique religious site that blends elements from various religions.
Explore the Temple: Walk around the temple to admire its marvelous and mysterious architecture and watch the noon mass.

Afternoon
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant, savoring traditional dishes.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City: After lunch, depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

Late Afternoon
Arrival in Saigon: Arrive back in Saigon and be dropped off at your place of stay, concluding your memorable day tour.
