Welcome to Hanoi, enjoy a walking tour in the old quarter

Landing at the Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed by professional tour guide and driver at the pickup lobby. Enjoy 45-minute driving to the city center (Hanoi Old Quarter) with city's briefing information about the most visited spots, culture, traffic and cuisine....Arrive in your hotel, check in and have a rest.

Continue the day, tour guide will escort you walking around the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake to the Opera House, stopping at the statue of King Ly Thai To and Vietnamese Government Guest House, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. Walk back to the Old town, visit some main streets before returning to your hotel.

9:00 AM: Meet your tour guide and embark on a journey to the Temple of Literature, a revered site established during the 11th century under the Ly Dynasty. Originally dedicated to Confucius and serving as a prestigious educational institution for imperial students, the temple offers a glimpse into Vietnam's scholarly past. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the tranquil gardens and visit the iconic Khue Van Cac, the Pavilion of Constellations of Literature. Explore the historic stone steles, engraved with the names of distinguished scholars, and immerse yourself in the significance of Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam's first national university.

Next, choose one of the city's fascinating museums for an enriching experience: the National History Museum, Hoa Lo Prison Museum, Museum of Ethnology, or Fine Arts Museum. After your visit, take a break for lunch or a refreshing drink, depending on your preference.

In the afternoon, stroll through Hanoi’s French Quarter, often likened to a charming "little Paris" with its tree-lined boulevards, grand government buildings, and bustling squares. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside, then enjoy a leisurely walk through the surrounding gardens. Discover the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, where he lived and worked. Continue your exploration to the iconic One-Pillar Pagoda, a symbol of the city with its unique design.
Proceed to the Quan Thanh Temple, one of Hanoi's four ancient temples, dating back to the 11th century under King Ly Thai To. Dedicated to the Taoist deity Tran Vu, this temple is a serene retreat. Make a stop at the Tran Quoc Pagoda, a 6th-century marvel from the Ly Nam De Dynasty, situated on an island in the lake.

A full day to explore Ninh Binh at Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Bich Dong

8:00 AM: Meet your tour guide and driver at your hotel, then set off for Ninh Binh, a region renowned for its stunning blend of religious, historical, cultural, and natural beauty. As you travel through the picturesque Red River Delta, feel free to stop and capture the scenic landscapes with your camera.
Arrive in Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital from the 10th to the 11th centuries. Surrounded by majestic limestone mountains and rivers, the citadel provides a breathtaking backdrop for exploring Vietnam’s rich history.

Your visit will include the temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-980) and King Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). Both rulers played pivotal roles in Vietnam’s struggle for independence after a millennium of Chinese rule. These 17th-century temples stand as a tribute to their significant contributions to the nation.

Next, explore Bich Dong Pagoda, a 15th-century religious site nestled in the tranquil countryside of the Red River Delta. Cross a stone bridge to reach Chua Ha, and climb over 100 steps to Chua Trung, a cave pagoda renowned for its unique earthen sculptures. Continue your hike to Chua Thuong, where you can delve into Buddhist traditions and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding rice fields.
After a flavorful lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Tam Coc, often referred to as the “Halong Bay on land” and featured in the famous French film "Indochina." 11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the waiting lounge.

12:00: Board the cruise ship, enjoy welcome drinks, and receive a short briefing. Check into your room and prepare for lunch.

12:30: Indulge in a Vietnamese and international lunch while taking in the scenic beauty of the bay, passing by iconic landmarks such as the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.

14:30: Explore Halong Bay further by visiting the Pearl Farm. This is an ideal opportunity for kayaking and experiencing the timeless beauty of Ha Long Bay up close.

16:00: Explore Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Grotte des Surprising, the largest limestone cave in the area. Marvel at the stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. (Proper footwear is highly recommended, especially in wet conditions.)

17:45: Return to the boat and enjoy the bar’s Happy Hour (buy 2, get 1 free).

10:00: Enjoy brunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Marina. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and bid farewell to the crew.

Your first stop is Cam Pho, one of the town's oldest communal houses. Built in the shape of a Chinese character, this historic structure was designed to facilitate worship, trade, and cultural interactions between local residents and the Chinese and Japanese traders who frequented the area.
Next, take a relaxing stroll to Chua Cau, also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge. This iconic 17th-century bridge was constructed to connect the Japanese quarter with the Chinese neighborhoods, and its timeless design has been meticulously maintained for over 400 years.

Continue your exploration by wandering through the charming streets of Hoi An, where you'll encounter the Quan Thang Old House. This well-preserved residence showcases traditional Hoi An architecture, crafted by the skilled artisans of Kim Bong carpentry village. The house offers an authentic glimpse into the everyday life of Hoi An’s past residents.
Enhance your visit with a stop at the Phuc Kien (Fujian) Assembly Hall, built in the 17th century as a community gathering place for Fujianese immigrants. This hall also serves as a shrine to the goddess Thien Hau. Admire the vibrant courtyard, intricate gate carvings, and the impressive dragons displayed in the main hall.

As a UNESCO World Heritage site, My Son features 70 ancient structures built with bricks and stones between the 7th and 13th centuries. Your guide will offer detailed explanations about the site’s cultural, historical, and architectural importance as you tour the ruins. The experience is complemented by a traditional Champa dance performance before you leave the sanctuary.
