After a hearty breakfast, set off on a trek from Ma Tra Hamlet to Ta Phin Village. 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Join a tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere. It takes about 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang Cave, one of Cat Ba Island's most impressive caves, known for its numerous stalactites and geological significance.

9:30 AM: Return to the main boat, check out of your cabin, and place your luggage outside.

10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Disembark from Peony Cruises and transfer to Tuan Chau Port.

A private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter and take you to Noi Bai Airport, about a 45-minute drive away. For international flights, ensure you arrive 3 hours before departure; for domestic flights, 2 hours is sufficient.

Upon arrival at Dong Hoi Airport, you will be met by a local guide and driver. You’ll then take a morning flight to Quang Binh Province, home to the spectacular Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its unique karst landscapes and extensive cave systems.

From Dong Hoi, enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside to the national park. Your first stop will be Phong Nha Cave, discovered in 1994. Famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites as well as an underground river, you’ll board a boat to reach the cave’s grand entrance. Inside, explore the cave’s natural wonders, including the Bi Ky Cave and the Celestial Palace.

After a local lunch, head to the Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave), discovered in 2005. It is renowned for being the longest cave in Asia, stretching 31.4 km with heights of up to 60 m and widths ranging from 30 to 100 m. A short forest walk leads you to the cave entrance, where you can marvel at its vast chambers and stunning rock formations.
