Welcome to Hanoi, enjoy a walking tour in the old quarter

Landing at the Noi Bai airport, you are welcomed by professional tour guide and driver at the pickup lobby. Enjoy 45-minute driving to the city center (Hanoi Old Quarter) with city's briefing information about the most visited spots, culture, traffic and cuisine....Arrive in your hotel, check in and have a rest.

Continue the day, tour guide will escort you walking around the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake to the Opera House, stopping at the statue of King Ly Thai To and Vietnamese Government Guest House, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. Walk back to the Old town, visit some main streets before returning to your hotel.

Option: If your flight arrives late or you are jet lag after long flight, the walking tour will be moved to the city tour day.

Day 2 :
Hanoi

Visiting the city's highlights, travelling to French Quarter, Ho Chi Minh complex, leisurely walk by the West Lake

9:00 AM: Begin your exploration with a local guide escorting you to the Sanctuary of Writing, an ancient site from the 11th century built during the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius and educate royal offspring. Stroll through the tranquil gardens to Khue Van Cac, an iconic symbol of the city. Continue to the World Heritage "stone steles," which honor the names of distinguished scholars.

Next, delve into the history of Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first national university, before choosing to visit one of the city’s museums (options include the National Museum of History, Hoa Lo Prison, the Museum of Ethnology, or the Fine Arts Museum). Enjoy a break for lunch or a drink (at your own expense).

In the afternoon, explore the French Quarter, often referred to as "little Paris," with its tree-lined avenues, government buildings, and grand squares. Visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh (outside view), followed by a leisurely walk through the botanical gardens to the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, where he once lived and worked.

Next, admire the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a renowned symbol of Hanoi. Depending on the group size, you may spend one to two hours exploring this area. Proceed to Quan Thanh Temple, one of the city's four significant temples, dating back to the 11th century during the Ly Thai To Dynasty, dedicated to the Taoist deity Tran Vu.

Enjoy a serene stroll along a picturesque street by West Lake, offering splendid city views, and visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, which dates back to the 6th century under the rule of Ly Nam De. Conclude your day with a unique water puppet show, a traditional Vietnamese art form that dates back to the 11th century, showcasing cultural and everyday life through floating puppets accompanied by live traditional music.

A full day to explore Ninh Binh at Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Bich Dong

8:00 AM: Meet your local guide and driver at your hotel, and set off for Ninh Binh, a region renowned for its captivating mix of historical sites, cultural heritage, religious landmarks, and natural beauty. As you travel through the picturesque Red River Delta, enjoy the scenic views and make stops for photos along the way.

Arrive in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from the 10th to 11th centuries, surrounded by striking limestone hills and serene waterways. Explore the historic temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-980) and King Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009). Both rulers played crucial roles in Vietnam’s fight for independence from Chinese rule, and the temples, built in the 17th century, reflect their enduring legacy.

Next, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, an ancient temple complex set in the tranquil Red River Delta countryside, built in the 15th century. Cross a stone bridge to reach Chua Ha and climb over 100 steps to Chua Trung, a unique cave pagoda known for its distinctive clay statues. Continue to Chua Thuong for panoramic views of the lush landscape and a deeper insight into Buddhist traditions.

Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed to Tam Coc, often referred to as "Halong Bay on land" and featured in the French film "Indochine." At Tam Coc pier, board a private sampan boat for a scenic ride along the Ngo Dong River. Glide through three stunning caves and take in the breathtaking views of verdant rice fields, quaint villages, ancient cemeteries, and historic temples.

Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon, arriving around 6:00 PM, and reflect on a day rich with exploration and discovery.

8:00 AM – 8:30 AM:depart from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter or from our Shuttle Bus stop if you’re staying outside the Old Quarter (additional fees may apply). You’ll then set out on a scenic journey to Halong City, which will take about 2.5 to 3 hours with a potential restroom stop along the way.

11:00 AM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the waiting lounge.

12:00 PM: Board the cruise ship, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a brief overview. Settle into your room and get ready for lunch.

12:30 PM: Delight in a lunch of Vietnamese and international dishes while enjoying the picturesque views of Halong Bay, passing by notable landmarks such as the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.

2:30 PM: Explore Halong Bay further with a visit to the Pearl Farm. This is a great opportunity for kayaking and experiencing the bay’s beauty up close.

4:00 PM: Discover Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Grotte des Surprising, the largest limestone cave in the region. Marvel at the impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. (Proper footwear is advised due to potential wet conditions.)

5:45 PM: Return to the boat and take advantage of Happy Hour at the bar (buy 2, get 1 free).

Saigon City full day tour to visit Independence Palace, Walking tour, War Remnant museum, Ben Thanh market

8:00 AM: Depart from your hotel for a journey to one of the most significant sites in Vietnam’s wartime history: the Cu Chi Tunnels. This extensive underground network, stretching over 250 kilometers, was a pivotal stronghold for the Viet Cong during their resistance against American forces. Carved out over two decades using only hand tools, these tunnels form an intricate underground city. Your tour will include a rare opportunity to enter and explore some of these tunnels firsthand.
