9:00 AM: Start your day with a visit to the Temple of Literature, a revered historical site founded during the 11th century under the Ly Dynasty. Originally dedicated to Confucius and used as a school for royal children, this serene complex is an emblem of Vietnam’s educational heritage. Stroll through the beautiful gardens to admire the iconic Khue Van Cac, a symbol of the city.

Next, explore the UNESCO World Heritage "stone steles" which commemorate distinguished scholars. Continue your journey through the Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first national university, where you can delve into the country’s rich academic history.

Select one of the city's prominent museums for your next stop—choices include the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, the Museum of Ethnology, or the Fine Arts Museum. After your museum visit, take a break for lunch or a refreshing drink at your leisure (at your own expense).

In the early afternoon, venture into the French Quarter, often referred to as "Little Paris" due to its charming tree-lined streets, colonial buildings, and grand squares. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum from the outside, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the surrounding gardens to the Presidential Palace, where Ho Chi Minh once lived and worked.

Continue to Quan Thanh Temple, one of the four major temples in Hanoi, dating back to the 11th century under King Ly Thai To. This temple is dedicated to Tran Vu, a prominent deity in Taoism.

11:00 AM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the waiting lounge.

12:00 PM: Board the cruise ship, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a short briefing. Check into your room and prepare for lunch.

12:30 PM: Relish a Vietnamese and international lunch while cruising through Halong Bay, passing by notable landmarks like the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.

2:30 PM: Visit the Pearl Farm to continue exploring Halong Bay. This is an excellent chance to go kayaking and appreciate the bay’s breathtaking scenery.

4:00 PM: Explore Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Grotte des Surprising, the largest cave in the region. Be amazed by the stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. (Proper footwear is essential, especially if it’s wet.)

5:45 PM: Return to the boat for Happy Hour at the bar (buy 2, get 1 free).
