Morning:
8:00 - Begin your day with a transfer from your hotel to the Emperor Minh Mang's Tomb. This architectural marvel, harmoniously blending nature and imperial religious elements, was planned during Minh Mang’s reign (1820–40) and completed by his successor, Thieu Tri, with the efforts of ten thousand workers and artisans.

Continue your journey with a boat trip along the Huong River (Perfume River) to Thuy Bieu Village. As you glide along the river, admire the picturesque landscapes on both sides. After about an hour, arrive at Thuy Bieu, renowned for its divine grapefruit trees. Cycle around the village, enjoying the pleasant aroma of the grapefruit trees and the peaceful atmosphere. Visit a temple dedicated to the village protector and a traditional garden house built centuries ago. This is a perfect opportunity to capture great photos and interact with villagers working in the gardens and vegetable fields.

Midday:
Enjoy a delightful lunch served in the village.

Afternoon:
Drive to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue’s oldest pagodas, dating back to 1601. This spiritual highlight of the city is famous for its majestic octagonal tower and beautiful views of the Perfume River.

Following the visit to Thien Mu Pagoda, head to the city center to explore the Hue Citadel, the only remaining symbol of Vietnam's imperial city. Inspired by Vauban's fortifications, the citadel comprises three parts: Kinh Thanh (the Capital City), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial City), and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City). The most beautiful sites in Hue are concentrated in this area, including the flag tower, the South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Dynasty Temple area, and the settlement area.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Your exploration begins at Cam Pho, one of the oldest communal houses in Hoi An. Built in the shape of a Chinese character symbolizing the country, it has long served as a hub for worship, trade, and cultural exchange among locals, Chinese, and Japanese traders.

Next, take a leisurely walk to Chua Cau, or the Japanese Covered Bridge. Constructed in the 17th century to connect the Japanese and Chinese quarters, this iconic bridge has retained its original style for over 400 years.

Visit Quan Thang Ancient House, renowned for its authentic oriental architecture and intricate carvings crafted by artisans from the famous Kim Bong carpentry village. This house offers a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of a traditional Hoi An family.

Conclude your tour at the Phuc Kien (Fujian) Assembly Hall, established in the 17th century as a gathering place for Fujian residents and traders. This hall also serves as a religious site honoring the deity Thien Hau. Admire the colorful fountains, ornate gates, and beautifully carved dragons in the main hall.

Start your day by meeting at your hotel and beginning your cycling journey to Hoi An pier. Board a ferry to cross the Thu Bon River, enjoying the fresh air and idyllic landscapes on both sides.

Arrive at Kim Bong Village, renowned for its wood carving. Initially, artisans here adopted techniques from northern Vietnam, later incorporating Chinese and Japanese styles. Cycle through the village to experience daily life and visit a carpenter's workshop to admire their craftsmanship. You can purchase unique wood products as souvenirs.

Continue your cycling adventure along scenic trails through rice paddies and across bamboo bridges to Tra Nhieu Village. Immerse yourself in the central Vietnamese countryside, meeting locals like Ms. Duoc, a mat weaver, Mr. Kha, a bamboo sampan basket maker, and Mr. Huynh Ri, a shipyard craftsman. The landscape will be dotted with palm and rice fields, buffaloes, and farmers at work.

Midday:
From Tra Nhieu, embark on a boat trip along the Thu Bon River to Cam Thanh Village. Enjoy the scenic views of fishing farms and water palm trees along the way. Rest at the home of a local fisherman, Mr. Phong. Enjoy green tea and a foot massage with medicinal herbs from his family garden. Then, prepare vegetables and herbs from Tra Que Village and participate in a cooking session. Learn to make traditional dishes like crispy pancakes (with meat, shrimp, and beansprouts), Hoi An spring rolls, Tam Huu, and grilled fish in banana leaves. Savor the dishes you’ve created.
