Discover the Muong and Thai Culture and Scenic Beauty in Mai Hich, Xam Khoe, and Buoc Villages

Early Morning:
Meet your tour guide and driver, then embark on your journey to Mai Chau. En route, visit a Muong village and then proceed to Thung Khe pass, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the valley before arriving in the charming town of Mai Chau. Nestled 145 km from Hanoi, Mai Chau is a picturesque valley renowned for its harmonious landscapes, verdant mountain ranges, rice terraces, and White Thai ethnic villages.

Late Morning:
Arrive at Mai Hich village, check into your accommodation, and savor a delightful lunch.

Afternoon:
Explore Mai Hich by strolling along its trails and concrete roads. The enchanting landscapes of villages, rice fields, mountains, and streams blend seamlessly, creating a mesmerizing scene. Engage with the hospitable locals who warmly invite you into their homes for a cup of tea.

Late Afternoon:
Continue your trek through the rice fields and small communities to Xam Khoe, a less-touristic Thai village. Revel in the harmony of nature’s splendor and rich cultural heritage. At the end of your trek, your driver will pick you up and transfer you back to your accommodation.

Unveiling Eo Ken, Ban Hang Villages, and Chieng Lau Adventures

Early Morning:
Depart from Mai Hich and head directly to Eo Ken, 30 km away, home to the Muong ethnic community. Descend the slope to relish the breathtaking views of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, rice terraces, and mountains. Visit a Muong family in Eo Ken village to experience their authentic way of life. Continue walking through this picturesque landscape, crossing a stream to reach Hang Village.

Mid-Morning:
Get picked up by car and transferred to Pu Luong. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a hearty lunch.

Afternoon:
Venture to Chieng Lau, famous for its verdant rice fields and bamboo water wheels. Embark on a scenic walk to interact with local residents and observe the bamboo water wheels used for irrigation.

Late Afternoon:
Return to Pu Luong. Enjoy some leisure time.

Note: During the summer, you might enjoy swimming while bamboo rafting.

Day 3 :
Pu Luong

Full-Day Trek through Kho Muong, Uoi, and Lan Ngoai Villages

Early Morning:
Embark on a trekking adventure to explore Pu Luong Nature Reserve and its local inhabitants. A 5 km transfer from your accommodation along 15C road will take you towards Kho Muong village.

Mid-Morning:
Begin your trek along the trail to Kho Muong, the most secluded village in Pu Luong, nestled in a valley surrounded by stunning limestone mountains and rice terraces. Kho Muong is home to the Thai ethnic group. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the breathtaking scenery and interact with the locals along the way.

Late Morning:
Enjoy lunch at a homestay in Kho Muong Village.

Afternoon:
Continue trekking through forest trails and manioc fields to reach Uoi Village, another picturesque village inhabited by the Thai ethnic group, known for their preserved thatched houses. Proceed to Lan Ngoai Village, soaking in the beauty of the landscape, before being transferred back to your accommodation.

Evening:
Return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Begin your hike along narrow trails to reach the charming villages of Leo, Mo, Chu, and Danh. Make sure to bring your camera to capture the unforgettable moments as you traverse through the ever-changing landscapes of rice terraces, villages, wild fields, ponds, streams, and mountains.

Midday:
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:
Your driver will pick you up for the transfer back to Hanoi. En route, visit the sacred fish stream in Cam Luong, famous for its unique fish species and the mystical stories surrounding them. Continue your journey to Hanoi, arriving and checking into your hotel in the late afternoon.
