Annam Junk’s designing style is based on the traditional decor dating back to the 14th century with wooden as core material and two sails on top.

Each cabin on this cruise is fully equipped with deluxe amenities with air-conditioner and private bathrooms. In addition to well-furnished cabins, there is a cozy restaurant with diverse menus of Vietnamese and Western food, as well as a sun deck on top of the junk for guests to admire the magnificent sceneries of the bay while sipping a couple of drinks.

Annam Junk currently offers both a 2 and 3 day cruise program.

Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay:

The cancellation decision is made by the Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such a case, we will make alternative travel arrangements for you on request or offer a refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Children less than 4 years of age travel free of charge, sharing a room with parent/s. Limited to one child per cabin.

Children from 4 to 11 years of age are charged 75%, sharing a room with parent/s.

The rate for children applicable for one child sharing a twin or double cabin with two adults on a mattress.

Children older than 12 are charged adult price

Peak season surcharge : Surcharge $30/adult and $20/child for Gala dinner applies if guests stay on board on December 24th and/or December 31st.

Shuttle bus : $20/ adult and $15/ child round trip. Pick up point: at hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or in front of Hanoi Opera House

Booking Policy

More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge 

From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates 

From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates. 

Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates. 

No-Show: 100% of total rates.

Cancellation notice must be in written form and sent to us via email. Refunds will be processed between 5-7 business days.

Itinerary

Morning
Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 ( transfer not included in cabin price). Leave Hanoi by road for Ha Long Bay. The trip is a chance for you to explore the daily life of Vietnamese villagers, as well as natural scenery of Vietnam through stretching paddy fields, green forest and grandiose mountain. Arrive at Halong Pier by noon.

Afternoon
Complete your check-in and the delicious sea-food lunch is ready while the ship starts cruising around Ha Long Bay. The cruise’s routine includes Ding Huong Island, Duck Island, Dog Island and Sail Island. Stop at Pearl Village before heading to Titop Beach, where you might take nice photos of the great bay and enjoy sunbathing, swimming and kayaking.

In the late afternoon, return to the vessel and take part in interesting cooking class on the sundeck and refresh yourselves before dining time. The junk anchors at Hang Lac area for another attractive Vietnamese meal and overnight.

Morning
Wake up in the early morning to watch the sunrise over the Bay and enjoy breakfast with tea, coffee and cake. Transfer to the rowing boat to visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Grotto where you might contemplate one of the most stunning caves of the wall with unique formation of thousand years old stalactites. After around one hour of climbing and exploration, come back to the main boat to pack up and come back to Ha Long. On the way, have farewell lunch while the boat is passing beautiful sites such as Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sai Island, Binh Phong mountain, Man’s head Island and Tortoise Island.

Arrive in Ha Long Harbor by noon and come back to Hanoi.
