Itinerary

Morning:
Begin your day with a pick-up from your hotel for an exciting excursion in Hoi An. Once a bustling trading port from the 15th to the 19th century, Hoi An's Old Town is a well-preserved treasure trove of history and culture, enriched by the authentic lifestyle of its residents.

Your first stop is Cam Pho, one of the oldest communal houses in Hoi An, built in the shape of a Chinese character symbolizing the country. This house has long served as a center for worship, trade, and cultural exchange among locals, Chinese, and Japanese traders.

Take a leisurely walk to Chua Cau, also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge. Constructed in the 17th century to connect the Japanese and Chinese neighborhoods, the bridge's original style has been meticulously preserved for over 400 years.

Continue your walk through the town, immersing yourself in local life. Stop at Quan Thang Ancient House, one of the most authentic old houses in Hoi An. It features lively and intricate architecture and sculptures crafted by artisans from the famous Kim Bong carpentry village. The house offers a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of a traditional Hoi An family.

Enrich your tour with a visit to the Phuc Kien (Fujian) Assembly Hall. Established in the 17th century, this hall serves as a gathering place for Fujian residents, traders, and visitors. It is also a religious site honoring the deity Thien Hau. Admire the colorful fountains in the courtyard, the ornate gates, and the beautifully carved dragons in the main hall.

Afternoon:
After a morning exploring the historic town, drive to Tra Que farming village. Famous for its aromatic herbs, mint, and basil, Tra Que offers a unique flavor with its smaller-than-usual leaves. Enjoy an engaging introduction to the village’s history, vegetable cultivation, and the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine. This visit also provides a great opportunity to meet and take pictures with local farmers.

My Son was once the most significant intellectual and religious center of the Champa Kingdom and also served as a royal burial site for Cham monarchs.

Recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site, My Son Sanctuary preserves 70 architectural ruins made of brick and stone, dating from the 7th to the 13th centuries. As you explore, your guide will provide fascinating insights into the cultural, historical, and architectural significance of each relic. Key highlights include the flag tower, the South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Dynasty Temple area, and the settlement area.
