After eating breakfast at the hotel, head to the dock to take a boat ride to the largest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta, the Cai Rang floating market. The bustling environment, packed with hundreds of sampans full of rice, fruits, and handcrafted handicrafts, is a riot of colors and scents. Starting early in the morning, everything is displayed to sale.

After leaving the market, continue your boat ride through the canals and stop at a fruit garden (you can choose to visit the nursery field along the river in place of the garden). Return to An Binh Market; it is stocked with seafood, fruits, and vegetables. Visit the old mansion of Binh Thuy, which houses the orchid garden where the movie "The Lover" was filmed.
Repatriate to Saigon.

Special excursion to Cu Chi tunnels and then visiting Cao Dai temple, flying to Hue

8:00 AM: Depart from your accommodation to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, the most remarkable location in Vietnam War history.
The Viet Cong fought a battle of resistance against American forces in Cu Chi, a true underground metropolis consisting of a vast network of tunnels spanning more than 250 km. Pickaxes and shovels were the sole tools used throughout the twenty years that the tunnels were excavated. A portion of the journey involves specific tunnel entry. Additionally, you will get to see the far less visited Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, which was constructed in 1993 as a tribute to the Vietnamese soldiers lost in Cu Chi.

Proceed with the trip and take a shuttle to the Cao Dai Temple, one of Vietnam's holiest sites. A distinctively Vietnamese religion, caodaism draws inspiration from Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and even Roman Catholicism. You can go to the midday mass when you are visiting.

Drive back to the city center after eating lunch at a nearby restaurant. Fly to Hue.

A full day to explore Ninh Binh at Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Bich Dong

8:00 AM: Pick up your driver and tour guide at the hotel, then head to Ninh Binh, a fantastic location rich in historical, cultural, religious, and natural attractions. Make any stops you want to take pictures of while traveling across the Red River delta.

Visit Hoa Lu, which served as Vietnam's capital between the tenth and eleventh centuries. Surrounded by limestone mountains and rivers, the fortress is naturally protected and provides an incredibly magnificent backdrop.

When you go to Hoa Lu, you will see the temples honoring Emperors Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968–80) and Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980–1009), who were instrumental in helping the nation win its freedom from China after a millennium of Chinese domination. The fact that both temples date back to the 17th century shows how much the King's efforts were respected.

Continue your excursion to the Bich Dong, a classic 15th-century Red River Delta pagoda located in the countryside. Once there, a stone bridge will take you to Chua Ha, from where you can ascend more than 100 stairs to reach Chua Trung, the cave pagoda featuring the unusual clay figurines. After that, you will hike up to Chua Thuong. Not only can you get knowledge about Buddhism, but you can also take in breathtaking views of the countryside.

Before traveling to Tam Coc, which is referred to as "Halong Bay on land" and featured in the well-known French film "Indochina," enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. You will board a private sampan boat at the port and cruise the Ngo Dong River for ninety minutes. Explore three caves and take in the breathtaking scenery that is peppered with little towns, rice fields, cemeteries, and temples.
