Greetings from Hanoi, and a stroll in the Old Quarter.
When you arrive at the Noi Bai airport, a knowledgeable tour guide and driver greet you in the pickup lobby. Enjoy a 45-minute drive to the Old Quarter in the heart of Hanoi while learning about the city's top attractions, customs, traffic, and food.When you go to your hotel, check in and then unwind.

Walkabout tours are a great way to end the day. Commence at the Ba Da tiny pagoda, which is tucked away in a little lane just a little distance from the 19th-century French colonial Hanoi Great Cathedral. Your guide also shows you around some of Hanoi's characteristic streets, such Lan Ong Street, which sells traditional medicine, and Lo Ren Street, which is the location of the metal fabrication industry. Don't forget to explore Hanoi's largest central market, Dong Xuan. Walk on until you reach Ta Hien Street, a well-known destination for nightlife and street food. Here, you'll witness colorful streets with an abundance of delectable regional fare and beverages. Taste-testing some will provide a memorable experience.

9:00 AM: Acquire Tour guide pick-up at the Temple of Literature, which was constructed in the eleventh century by the Ly dynasty to revere Confucius and educate royal children. Savor a stroll through the park to Khue Van Cac, the city's emblem. Next, you will see the "stone steles" of World Heritage that list the names of distinguished pupils. Go on exploring Quoc Tu Giam, which is regarded as Vietnam's first national university.
Next, make your way to the Ethnology Museum, which is closed on Mondays but provides a thorough understanding of Vietnamese culture through a variety of ethnic groups' traditional homes, utensils, clothes, and musical instruments. It takes around two hours to thoroughly tour this fascinating museum.
You travel to Hanoi's "little Paris," the French Quarter, which has a large plaza, government buildings, and boulevards lined with trees after midday. See Ho Chi Minh's tomb from the exterior before taking a leisurely stroll through the botanical gardens to see the Presidential Palace, which is Ho Chi Minh's former residence and place of business. In the direction of the distinctive One-pillar pagoda, one of the city's icons. Depending on the number of passengers, exploring this complex takes one to two hours.
Return to the city center and have a nap before taking in the water puppet plays, which are a unique kind of entertainment that date back to the eleventh century. Puppets on water depict Vietnamese culture, daily life, and beliefs in these performances. Usually, a traditional music performance is included in the program.

8:00 A.M. After meeting the driver and tour leader, head to Mai Chau. Visit a Muong village en route. Proceed to Thung Khe Pass, where you'll find breathtaking sweeping views of the valley, and eventually arrive in Mai Chau town. The stunning valley of Mai Chau is situated 145 kilometers from Hanoi. It's a beautiful area with serene scenery, verdant mountain ranges, rice terraces, and White Thai traditional villages.
Arrive at Mai Hich, relax, and savor your lunch. Wander the concrete roads and paths in Mai Hich throughout the day to learn more about the area. The towns, rice fields, mountains, and streams all blend harmoniously to create breathtaking scenery that will entice you. Don't pass up the chance to interact with the welcoming locals who would be happy to have you over for a cup of tea at their home.
Trekking further, you will pass little settlements and rice fields until arriving to Xam Khoe, a Thai village that is yet undiscovered by tourists. Savor the fusion of the rich human culture and the splendor of nature. After, have a vehicle pick you up and return you to your lodging.

Mai Hich Homestay (Sharing homestay)

Leave Mai Hich immediately and go 30 kilometers to Eo Ken, the home of the Muong ethnic group. Enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the mountains, rice field terraces, and Pu Luong Nature Reserve as you stroll down the slope. Discover the real life of a Muong ethnic family in Eo Kenvillage. To go to HangVillage, keep strolling through this breathtaking scenery and cross a brook.
After being picked up by automobile, go to Pu Luong for lunch. After that, travel to Chieng Lau, a charming region well-known for its verdant rice fields and bamboo waterwheels. Take a leisurely stroll here to interact with the locals and see the bamboo water wheels that are used for irrigation.
Return to your lodging. Stay at Pu Luong for the night.

Set off on a hike down the trail to Pu Luong's most isolated settlement, which is tucked away in a valley and encircled by stunning rice terraces and limestone rocks. The Thai ethnic community resides in Kho Muong. Prepare your camera so you can document the amazing rice terrace landscape and meet the villagers along the way.
Lunch will be provided at Kho Muong Village's homestay. In the afternoon, go on along the paths through the manioc field and woodland to arrive to Uoi village, a charming community inhabited by a different ethnic group of Thai people who still maintain their thatched homes. Proceed to stroll to Lan Ngoai Village and then return to your lodging.

After touring the villages of Leo, Mo, Chu, and Danh and taking in the stunning rice terrace, go to Ninh Binh.
8:00 AM: Have breakfast, bid the host farewell, and then descend to the breathtaking rice terrace valley. Trek through narrow streets to get at Leo, Mo, Chu, and Danh, four quaint settlements. Remember to bring your camera so you can record these priceless moments. You will be able to take in the shifting views of mountains, ponds, streams, natural fields, towns, and rice terraces as you climb. We're going to a nearby eatery for lunch.
Move on to Ninh Binh. Take a pause along the journey to visit Cam Luong's holy fish stream. This place is well known for a special kind of fish that live in the stream; they are often called sacred because of the many enigmatic stories that are told about this amazing fish. Proceed to Ninh Binh and settle into your lodging after your excursion.

8:00 AM: Leave your hotel and go to Cuc Phuong National Park for an hour. Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam's first natural reserve, was formally established in 1960 and is situated southwest of Hanoi. The plants and wildlife of this tropical rain forest are incredibly rich and diverse. See the Endangered Primate Rescue Center upon arrival, where unique monkeys from Vietnam are raised and saved. Drive to the park center after finishing your tour of the turtle home project. After eating lunch at the home on stilts, hike toward the park's center.
Start a leisurely, three- to four-hour hike through the tropical jungle to get a clear glimpse of the breathtaking scenery, including the pure limestone mountains and valleys. Halfway along the trek, stop for a rest under a massive old tree. Take a little hike to the Early Man's Cave on the way back, and then drive back to your accommodation. Tour's end.

Savor a leisurely breakfast and a tranquil dawn in the countryside. Take a 15-kilometer bike ride along the dike to see the beautiful scenery of limestone mountains, a river, and rice fields. There are many of places to stop and take beautiful pictures and chat with people. Visit the eleventh-century Thung La Temple to continue your tour. Don't pass up the opportunity to see traditional musical instruments that are essential to Vietnamese culture and spirituality.
Proceed to Sail a sampan boat through the limestone mountains and down the stream to explore the splendor of Van Long natural reserve. With any luck, you may be able to spot egrets and white monkeys perched on the rocks. Visit an embroidered hamlet after the boat ride, and then enroll in an embroidery class taught by Mrs. Lam, a local craftswoman. She will gladly share the methods used in her age-old trade. You will get a great chance to practice handling cloth like a true craftsman.
Travel the Red River Delta on your way from Ninh Binh to Hanoi, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way. Along the trip, take advantage of several photo ops amid the verdant rice fields and peaceful countryside.

9:00 AM: Hotel pickup (located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi). Take pleasure in a 2.5-hour trip along National Highway No. 5B from Hanoi to Lan Ha Bay. The Red River Delta's chain of communities and rice paddies will pass by on your travels. Stop and get a drink and use the restroom. Proceed towards the harbor around midday and get a hearty greeting at the cruise reception.
12:00 PM: At Tuan Chau Port in Quang Ninh province, the Peony Cruises crew will greet you.
12:30 PM: After being transferred to our support vessel, you will cross the bay from the dock to join our opulent Peony Cruises. An itinerary briefing will be given at this time.
1:00 PM: A special meal with a variety of delectable treats and fresh cuisine is served, along with fresh beverages and damp towels to welcome guests onboard. Next, we sailed to one of the World's Most Beautiful Bays, Lan Ha Bay.
3:30 PM: We'll go to the Tra Bau region, which is well-known for its lyrical, untainted natural beauty and gorgeous Lan Ha Bay seascape. The limestone islands are quite beautiful, and now is the ideal time to explore them by kayak. Dive into the bay's emerald-green waves or relax in the Peony Cruises Jacuzzi pool.
5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Come watch us prepare spring rolls, one of the most well-known dishes in Vietnamese cuisine. As an alternative, take in the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin by moving to the upper deck of the ship. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE during happy hour at the bar. Photographers may take advantage of this perfect occasion to catch the most breathtaking sunset over Lan Ha Bay.
7:30 PM: Savor delectable regional cuisine that has been expertly prepared and presented by our chef. This delicious meal is presented in a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Unwind and enjoy unique cocktails and other beverages at the sky bar (surcharge applies). Enjoy a spa treatment (optional) or just unwind on the upper deck while the sky is brilliantly lit. On the main deck, you may even try your hand at squid fishing.

6:00 AM: Enjoy the sun rising over the horizon while starting your day with a vigorous Tai Chi practice.
Breakfast is given between 6:45 and 7:15 in the morning as they cruise back to Gia Luan Jetty. Breakfast hour can be changed to correspond with the actual schedule.
Take part in the Cat Ba World Biosphere trip from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM. The trip from Gia Luan to Trung Trang Cave, one of Cat Ba Island, Vietnam's most spectacular caverns, takes thirty minutes. With hundreds of stalactites in a variety of forms, the limestone cave offers geological values together with a typical cave habitat.
9:30 AM: Leave your cabin and make your way back to the main boat via the cave. It is required to store luggage outside the cabin.
The eatery serves an early lunch. Pay any bar bills (if any) at the desk of the restaurant.
10:30 AM–11:00 AM: Return to Tuan Chau port after disembarking from Peony Cruises.
11:30 AM–12:00 PM: At Tuan Chau port, you have to be prepared.
Enjoy a two and a half hour trip back to Hanoi via the newly constructed highway No. 5B, which crosses the Red River Delta and villages. Your driver will greet you at the harbor. Deliver your accommodation (located in the Old Quarter of Hanoi).
