Danang arrival, welcome & transfer to hotel in Hoi An.

On the 30-45 minute drive to your hotel in Hoi An, your guide will introduce you to the city, pointing out must-visit spots and sharing tips on dining, drinking, navigating traffic, and understanding local customs. Sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful coastal views before checking in and relaxing at your hotel.

Day 2 :
Hoi AnThu,

Exploring Hoi An by cycling & walking, Tra Que organic herbs village, Cam Thanh village.

Begin at 8am from hotel to Hoian town center. First visit the oldest communal houses called Cam Pho in Hoi An, which was built in the shape of Chinese character means the country for worshipping and trading business and cultural exchange between locality and Chinese, Japanese traders.

Leisurely walk to the Hoian's symbol - the Chua Cau or the Japanese Covered Bridge, built in the 17th century to allow the Japanese quarter accessible from the Chinese neighborhoods. The bridge’s original style has been carefully preserved for the last 400 years.

Immerse yourself in the town's life by strolling to Quan Thang ancient house, one of Hoi An's most authentic old houses. Featuring vibrant and intricate architecture and sculptures crafted by artisans from the renowned Kim Bong carpentry village in the oriental style, the house provides an insightful glimpse into the daily life of a Hoi An family.

Next stop is Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly Hall before embark on the ferry crossing the Thu Bon river to Kim Bong village. On the boat, you will immerse yourselves into the comfortable fresh air and enjoy the idyllic landscapes on both sides of the river.

This village has long been known for its wood carving. At first, the artisans inherited the techniques from the northern Vietnamese. Later, from business exchange, they could successfully adopt the know-how of Chinese and Japanese sculptures and cultivate their own style. Bike around the village to understand their daily life and visit a carpenter's workshop to admire their talent. It is possible to buy some wood products as souvenirs.

Continue cycling along the trails to Tra Nhieu village, where you can fully immerse yourself in the central Vietnamese countryside. The trip offers unique encounters, such as meeting Ms. Duoc, who weaves mats, Mr. Kha, who crafts bamboo sampan baskets, and Mr. Huynh Ri, who runs a craftsman shipyard. As you ride, you'll be surrounded by scenic palm and rice fields, with buffaloes and farmers working in the fields.

From Tra Nhieu, set off on a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Cam Thanh village. Along the way the landscapes of fishing farms and water palmtrees will accompany you.

Arrive in Cam Thanh, take a little rest in the house of Mr. Phong - a local fishman, enjoy green tea and foot massage with medicinal herbs that planted in the family garden. Especially, you participate in small practice of cooking the dishes: crispy pancake (meat, shrimp, beansprouts…), spring rolls of Hoi An, Tam Huu, grilled fish in banana leaf after prepare vegetables and herbs … Enjoy the dishes that you made.

In the afternoon, embark a small round bamboo sampan basket boat to the water palm trees forest. This is a relaxing moment after hours of biking.

Transfer back to hotel at the end of the day.

My Son Sanctuary, Champa culture, unique architecture, Relax on beach

8:00 AM: Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel for a half-day excursion to the sacred valley of the Champa Kingdom.

Located 40 km from Hoi An, My Son was once the most important intellectual and religious center of the Champa Kingdom and may have served as a burial site for Cham monarchs.
Recognized as a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO, My Son preserves 70 ruined architectural works made of brick and stone, built between the 7th and 13th centuries. As you leisurely visit each relic, your tour guide will explain the cultural, historical, and architectural significance of the site.

The tour includes attending a traditional Champa dancing show before departing the sanctuary.

After the excursion, you'll travel back to the city. Enjoy free time relaxing on the beach or exploring the old town on your own.

Travel to Hue, visit to Cham sculpture museum, Hai Van Pass, Thien Mu Pagoda & Hue citadel

At 8am, Depart from your hotel and travel to Hue, passing through Da Nang along the coastal road. Upon reaching Da Nang, visit the Cham Museum, which houses the world's most significant collection of Cham cultural artifacts. Then, take a walk to My Khe Beach, where you can enjoy the view of the giant Goddess of Mercy statues at Linh Ung Pagoda. Capture photos of fishermen by the beach before continuing the scenic drive along the coastline to the ancient capital of Hue. Make a stop at the top of Hai Van Pass to enjoy breathtaking ocean views.

Upon arrival in Hue, enjoy lunch before visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Hue, dating back to 1601. This spiritual highlight of the city is well-known for its majestic octagonal tower and beautiful views of the Perfume River.
Continue your tour by visiting Hue Citadel, the sole remaining symbol of what was once Vietnam's imperial city. Inspired by Vauban fortifications, the city comprises three parts: Kinh Thanh (the Capital City), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial City), and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City). The most beautiful sites in Hue are concentrated in this area, including the flag tower, the South Gate, the Palace of Supreme Harmony, the Dynasty Temple area, and the settlement area.

Day 5 :
Hue

Boat trip on Huong river, excursion to Tien Non, Thanh Tien, Sinh village, Hue departure by train.

Begin your day with a trip to the Huong River (Perfume River) to embark on a Royal boat trip to the villages east of the city at 8am. This trip offers a chance to explore the local lifestyle on both sides of this picturesque river. Upon reaching Tien Non village, disembark for a bike ride through the countryside, visiting Tien Non, Thanh Tien, and Sinh villages.

In Tien Non village, interact with villagers working in the fields and vegetable gardens. Visit a family worship house in the village. Then, continue to Thanh Tien village, known for its 400-year tradition of crafting artificial paper flowers. In addition to their agricultural work, the villagers make paper flowers for the New Year festival to honor their ancestors. Visit Mr. Hieu’s family, a renowned artisan in the village, and learn to make paper flowers under his guidance. Proceed to Sinh village, famous for its 400-year-old tradition of folklore prints. Meet Mr. Phuoc, who will demonstrate traditional printing techniques. Discover beautiful souvenirs on this journey. Later, return to the city by boat.

In the afternoon, drive to Khai Dinh King's tomb, constructed over 11 years (1920 – 1931) on Chau Tru hill. The tomb is unique, blending oriental and western architectural styles. Climb a hundred steps to reach the worship palace at the top, where you can admire the intricate decorations made with porcelain fragments, a large ceiling painting, and a small museum of royal artifacts. Finally, enjoy a panoramic view of the tomb and its surroundings as you descend.
