The Phong Nha cave and the famous 17th Parallel (Hue – Quang Binh) – 02 Days

Morning:
Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup and travel to Quang Binh province, the narrowest part of Vietnam, renowned for the Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2003. This park covers 85,754 hectares of geological and ecological marvels, offering a breathtaking landscape of karst plateaus, rainforests, underground caves, and rivers, teeming with endemic species.
En route, stop at the historic 17th Parallel, which served as the border between North and South Vietnam as per the Geneva Accords. Visit the museum, flag tower, Ben Hai River, and Hien Luong Bridge to delve into the rich history of this region.

Late Morning:
Continue your journey to the famous Vinh Moc Tunnel. Dug by local villagers over two years (1965-1967), this 1.7 km long and 10 to 23 meters deep tunnel system served as a bomb shelter during the Vietnam War, showcasing the resilience and heroism of the Vietnamese people.

Afternoon:
Arrive at Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park around 3:00. Embark on a boat trip to explore Phong Nha Cave, discovered in 1994 and renowned for its subterranean river and stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Cruise along the Son River to reach the grand entrance of the cave, then enjoy a leisurely walk to admire natural wonders like Bi Ki Cave and the Celestial Palace.

Late Afternoon:
After your cave exploration, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your accommodation. Enjoy a restful stay in the tranquil town, reflecting on the day's discoveries.

Morning:
Wake up to the crisp mountain air and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Today, embark on a special journey to Paradise Cave (Thien Duong Cave). Discovered in 2005, this cave stretches 31.4 km long, with heights reaching 60 meters and widths varying from 30 to 100 meters, making it the longest cave in Asia. After a short walk through the forest, begin your exploration of this earthly paradise, marveling at the grandiose and mystical stalactites and stalagmites that fill its various chambers.

Afternoon:
Transfer to Dong Hoi city, where you will catch your evening flight or train, concluding a day of awe-inspiring discoveries.
