◾ Pick up at your hotel and embark on a 2-hour transfer from Hanoi, crossing the fertile Red River Delta to reach Ninh Binh.
◾ Biking Adventure Begins: Start cycling from Tam Coc town to Dam Khe village. Pause along the way to take stunning pictures of green rice fields, water buffaloes, and friendly villagers.
Bich Dong Pagoda: Head towards Bich Dong Pagoda and spend 45 minutes visiting the Green Cave and pagodas. Hike up to enjoy breathtaking countryside views.
Mid-Morning:
◾ Thung Nham Zone: Continue your journey to the Thung Nham zone, feeling like you're in the middle of "Halong Bay on land." Cycle through rice fields and small communities on a less touristic path. You might even spot many birds returning to the preservation center in the late afternoon.
Midday:
◾ Lunch Break: Head back to town and take a break for lunch. Enjoy a delicious meal to recharge for the afternoon's activities.
Afternoon:
◾ Cycling to Mua Cave: Continue cycling to Mua Cave, one of the best trekking routes in Ninh Binh, located 3.5 km from Tam Coc. Known as the "Dancing Cave," this site was used by the Tran King for enjoying dance and singing performances.
◾ Trekking Adventure: Spend almost an hour trekking up nearly 500 steps. The higher you go, the better the view. Reach the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to enjoy wonderful panoramic views of golden rice fields in Tam Coc, exotic limestone mountains, and idyllic villages. Take in the fresh air and stunning scenery while standing next to the Lady Buddha statue.
Late Afternoon:
◾ Return to Tam Coc: End your day by returning your bike to the store. Your driver will then pick you up for the journey back to Hanoi.
◾ Note: Wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera. The biking distance is flexible to suit your preference.
