Check into your hotel as soon as you get there, then relax for a while.

Please note: Check-in time at the hotel is at 14:00.

As you continue your day, your tour guide will take you for a leisurely stroll around the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake, where you will see places like the Opera House, the Vietnamese Government Guest House, the monument of King Ly Thai To, and the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi. After that, take a leisurely stroll along the Old Quarter's quaint streets before heading back to your hotel.

Day 2 :
Hanoi

9:00 a.m. Visit the Temple of Literature first thing in the morning. Built in the eleventh century by the Ly dynasty, it was intended to teach royal children and pay homage to Confucius. See the recognizable Khue Van Cac by taking a stroll in the garden. Proceed to investigate Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam's first national university, and the World Heritage "stone steles," which honor exceptional students.

Before having lunch at your leisure, start a museum tour (you may choose from the National History Museum, Hoa Lo, Museum of Ethnology, and Fine Art Museum).

Explore Hanoi's French Quarter in the afternoon. This area is evocative of Paris and features roads lined with trees, government buildings, and a large square. Admire the facade of the tomb dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, and then go through the botanical gardens to see the Presidential Palace and the stilt house. Admire the unusual One-Pillar Pagoda, a famous feature in the city. The size of the group determines how long this excursion takes.

Proceed to Quan Thanh Temple, one of the four important temples in Hanoi that was built in the eleventh century. Take a leisurely stroll around the picturesque route that skirts West Lake, stopping at the Tran Quoc Pagoda, which was established in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De.

Finish your day with an enthralling water puppet performance. Water puppetry, which dates back to the 11th century, is a traditional art form that uses water to represent Vietnamese culture, religion, and daily life. Traditional music is frequently played throughout the performance.

Now that the day's excursions have come to an end, head back to your hotel.
