Saigon City full day tour to visit Independence palace, Walking tour, War Remnant museum, Ben Thanh market
9:00 AM: Start your adventure by leaving your hotel and heading to the Independence Palace. Once the seat of South Vietnamese power, this grand five-story edifice is a time capsule of the late 1960s and 70s, featuring ornate rooms, a secret bunker, and the North Vietnamese tank that made history in 1975.
From there, take a leisurely stroll to the Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. Erected between 1863 and 1880, this architectural gem reflects the French colonial influence and offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
Wander towards Nguyen Hue Walking Street, where you can enjoy the vibrant cityscape and iconic landmarks. Don’t miss the elegant Saigon Central Post Office, designed by the legendary Gustave Eiffel. Its beautiful interiors and historical charm make it a must-see.
Break for lunch or a refreshing drink at your leisure, then delve into the gripping exhibits at the War Remnants Museum. This powerful museum provides a deep and thought-provoking look at the Vietnam War, offering insights from multiple perspectives.
As the day draws to a close, immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of Ben Thanh Market, a fixture since 1870. It's the perfect spot to find unique souvenirs, taste local street food, and experience the lively spirit of the city.

Special excursion to Cu Chi tunnels and then visiting Cao Dai temple
8:00 AM: Set off from your hotel to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, a truly extraordinary chapter in Vietnam War history.
This vast underground network, spanning over 250 kilometers, served as a subterranean stronghold for the Viet Cong during their resistance against American forces. Created over two decades with just pickaxes and shovels, these tunnels offer a fascinating glimpse into wartime ingenuity. Your tour will let you navigate some of these historical passageways, and you’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, a serene site built in 1993 to commemorate those who lost their lives at Cu Chi, often overlooked by tourists.
Next, venture to the Cao Dai Temple, a sacred and visually striking site in Vietnam. This unique temple embodies Caodaism, a distinctive Vietnamese religion that harmoniously blends elements of Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Roman Catholicism. Witness the midday mass, an evocative and colorful ritual that provides a deep insight into this fascinating faith.
Afterward, enjoy a meal at a nearby café, savoring local flavors before heading back to your hotel in the early evening to relax and reflect on your day’s experiences.
