Saigon City full day tour to visit Independence palace, Walking tour, War Remnant museum, Ben Thanh market
9:00 AM: Get from your lodging to the Independence palace, when utilized as the home - office of the Presidents of South Vietnam. The five-story palace with its rooms preserved in their late 1960s and 1970s styles and a bunker basement, as well as the North Vietnamese tank that successfully attacked the palace in 1975 to end the contentious Vietnam War, are among the sights we see during our visit.
Take a leisurely walking tour to continue. The Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon, which was built between 1863 and 1880, clearly reflects French colonial influences. It's a beautiful spot in the city.
Walk toward Nguyen Hue walking street to reach the iconic city landmark. The famous architect Gustave Eiffel created the stunning Saigon Central Post Office. It is a real, functioning post office with lovely interior decorations. Take a break for lunch or a drink on your own, then visit the War Remnant Museum, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most popular attractions. The exhibits give you perspectives on the Vietnam War from all sides, which might surprise you more than you're used to hearing or seeing.
At the end of the day, go to Ben Thanh Market, the city's most famous market that has been open since 1870. In addition to meeting the needs of the locals on a daily basis, the market is an excellent location for inexpensive souvenirs and Vietnamese street food.
Return to your inn. Free to explore the city or simply unwind.

Special excursion to Cu Chi tunnels and then visiting Cao Dai temple
At 8:00 AM, embark on a compelling journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a site of profound historical significance from the Vietnam War.
The Cu Chi Tunnels, an expansive underground network stretching over 250 kilometers, served as a strategic base for the Viet Cong's resistance against American forces. Carved painstakingly over two decades using only basic tools, these tunnels offer a striking glimpse into wartime ingenuity and survival. During your visit, you'll have the chance to explore various sections of these tunnels, experiencing firsthand the challenging conditions faced by those who lived and fought there. Don’t miss the nearby Ben Duoc memorial temple, a somber yet powerful site built in 1993 to honor the fallen Vietnamese heroes of Cu Chi, and less frequented by tourists.
Next, delve into the spiritual heart of Vietnam with a visit to the Cao Dai Temple, a unique religious landmark that embodies Caodaism—a syncretic faith blending Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Roman Catholicism. Attend the vibrant midday mass and witness the colorful and eclectic ceremonies that define this distinctive religion.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel in the afternoon, where you can relax and reflect on a day rich with historical and cultural discoveries.
