Special excursion to Cu Chi tunnels and then visiting Cao Dai temple

8:00 AM: Depart from your accommodation for a journey to one of the most significant historical sites of the Vietnam War—the Cu Chi Tunnels. This expansive underground network, stretching over 250 kilometers, served as a hidden battleground where the Viet Cong waged their guerrilla war against American forces. Constructed over two decades with nothing but pickaxes and shovels, these tunnels are a testament to incredible resilience and ingenuity. Your visit includes a chance to explore some sections of the tunnels firsthand.

Next, you'll visit the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, a solemn site built in 1993 to honor the Vietnamese who lost their lives in Cu Chi. Less frequented by tourists, this peaceful temple offers a more intimate reflection on the area's history.

Continue your day with a visit to the Cao Dai Temple, one of Vietnam's most sacred and unique attractions. Cao Dai is a distinctly Vietnamese religion blending elements of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and even Roman Catholicism. If you time your visit right, you can witness the mesmerizing noon prayer ceremony, a vibrant display of spiritual devotion.

After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, you'll make your way back to the city center, where you can unwind or continue exploring at your leisure.
