Full day to visit Hoi An city tour

9:00 AM: Hotel pickup for the journey to Hoi An. From the 15th to the 19th centuries, Hoi An was one of the most characteristic South-East Asian commerce ports, and its Old Town is still intact. Numerous historical structures, daily activities, religion, and the genuine way of life of the locals all reflect the traded cultures.

The first place to visit is Cam Pho, which is among Hoi An's oldest communal homes. Its construction in the form of a Chinese character designates it as a nation dedicated to worship, trade, and cross-cultural interaction between the local community and Chinese and Japanese traders.

Take a leisurely stroll to the Chua Cau, also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge, which is the icon of Hoi An. It was constructed in the 17th century to connect the Chinese quarters with the Japanese section. The last four centuries have seen a meticulous preservation of the bridge's original style.

Walk around the town and experience local life as you stop at Quan Thang Ancient House, one of Hoi An's most authentic old buildings with vivid, exquisite architecture and sculptures created in the oriental style by craftsmen from the renowned Kim Bong carpentry hamlet. A clear view of the Hoi An family's daily life is provided by the house.

Visit Phuc Kien, also known as the Fujian Assembly Hall, to enhance your journey. Constructed in the 17th century, it serves as a meeting point for locals, tourists, and traders from the Fujian region of China. In addition, it is a place of worship for the goddess Thien Hau. Upon visiting, you will be in awe of the intricately carved dragons in the main chamber, the colorful fountains in the courtyard, and the elaborate gates encircling the estate.

Drive to the agricultural village of Tra Que in the afternoon. It is well-known for the fragrant plants, basil and mint. Their leaves have a distinct flavor and are smaller than typical leaves. Take in this fascinating overview of the history of the village, the growing of vegetables, and the use of plants in traditional Vietnamese medicine. Additionally, it is a great chance to meet and snap photos with locals.
