Itinerary

Our tour guide and driver will greet you at Noi Bai airport. During the 45-minute drive to the city center (Hanoi Old Quarter), our guide will inform you about the popular sites as well as activities and food in the city. Afterward, you will arrive at your hotel, check in, and rest.

8:30 AM: Journey to Bat Trang village, a traditional pottery village situated 20 km away from the Old Quarter.

The first destination is the communal home, where the people worship the ancestors of the village. Here is also where they pray to achieve good success in their crafts. Afterwards, we visit an ancient house built in the 1900s, where our tour guide will give you a brief introduction to the spirituality of Vietnamese people.

Then visit a factory, where you will be guided through the process of making pottery. If you are interested, you can also try making some yourself. Visit the local market to explore the products of the artisans.

Head back to the city and have lunch; afterward, visit the Temple of Literature, which was built under the Ly dynasty in the 11th century as the first ever university in Vietnam as well as a place to worship Confucius. Enjoy a walk through Khue Van Cac, the symbol of Hanoi. You will then visit the stone turtles carrying the stone stele, which shows the names of outstanding students.

Tour the French Quarter to experience Paris in Hanoi, featuring French architecture like the Hanoi Opera House and the embassy area. Visit the exterior of Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, followed by a trip to the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, where he used to live and work. Then head towards the one-pillar pagoda, another symbol of Hanoi.

Return to the city center and rest before enjoying the water puppet shows, a traditional art in Hanoi that started in the 11th century. Puppets on water shows the Vietnamese people's daily lives, cultures, and beliefs. A traditional musical performance is also present to accompany these performances.

8:00 AM: Start from Hanoi to the Moon Garden homestay in the Ky Son village.
Upon arrival, enjoy some fresh local green tea, then take some alone time to discover the Moon Garden Homestay and the village.

11:00: Cooking class for authentic Vietnamese cuisines and lunch.

13:30: Hand Spa: Enjoy a traditional herbal hand massage. Then learn about the traditional customs of the area. If you want to learn Vietnamese, the people will be more than happy to teach you.

Experience your foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt, and mugwort medicinal herbs. While waiting for medicinal herbs to be prepared, you can enjoy our local drink and taste some of the local products, such as traditional dessert, maize, sweet potato, cassava, and peanuts, depending on season.

17:00: Travel back to your hotel in Hanoi.

8:00 AM–8:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up from either your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or our Shuttle Bus stop if you're staying outside the Old Quarter (additional fee applies). Then we head to Ha Long Bay, the trip will take approximately 2.5–3 hours, with a restroom stop available along the way (optional).

11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the waiting lounge.

12:00: Board the cruise ship, enjoy some welcome drinks, and receive a short briefing. Check into your room and prepare for lunch.

12:30: Enjoy a Vietnamese and international lunch while cruising through the scenic beauty of the bay, passing by iconic landmarks such as the Dog Stone Islet, Incense Burner, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.

14:30: Visit the Pearl Farm. This is where you can go kayaking and experience the beauty of Ha Long Bay up close.

16:00: Explore Sung Sot Cave, also known as the largest limestone cave in the area. Be amazed by the stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. (Proper footwear is highly recommended, especially in wet conditions.)

17:45: Return to the boat and enjoy the bar’s Happy Hour (buy 2, get 1 free).

19:30: Indulge in a deluxe dinner featuring traditional and fusion dishes prepared by our talented chefs.
