Itinerary

Welcome to Hanoi, enjoy a walking tour in the old quarter

After landing at Noi Bai Airport, a professional tour guide and driver will meet you at the pickup area. You'll then enjoy a 45-minute drive to Hanoi's Old Quarter, where you’ll get an introduction to the city's key attractions, culture, traffic, and food. Once you arrive at your hotel, check in and rest up.

Note: Hotel check-in is available from 2:00 PM.

Later, set out on a walking tour that begins with Ba Da Pagoda, a tranquil spot tucked away in a small alley, just a short distance from the Hanoi Great Cathedral, a 19th-century French colonial landmark. Your guide will show you around notable streets like Lan Ong Street, known for its traditional medicine shops, and Lo Ren Street, famous for metalwork. Visit Dong Xuan Central Market, the largest market in Hanoi, before heading to Ta Hien Street, a popular area for evening activities and street food. Savor some local dishes for an unforgettable experience.

Return to your hotel to finish the day.

Day 2 :
Hanoi

Exploring the center of culture & education Van Mieu, outstanding museum of ethnology, visiting French Quarter and discovering Old town

9:00 AM: Start your day with a guided visit to the Temple of Literature, a historical gem from the 11th century founded under the Ly dynasty to honor Confucius and serve as a royal academy. Wander through its tranquil gardens and admire Khue Van Cac, the city's emblem. Explore the remarkable “stone steles,” which honor Vietnam’s brightest scholars, and continue your journey at Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam's first national university, rich in history and heritage.

Next, make your way to the Ethnology Museum, a treasure trove of Vietnamese culture. The museum, closed on Mondays, provides a deep dive into the diverse traditions of Vietnam through its collection of traditional houses, tools, and costumes from various ethnic groups. Allocate about two hours to fully appreciate its exhibits.

Afterward, stroll through the French Quarter, known as "Little Paris" for its charming, tree-lined boulevards, stately buildings, and lively squares. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from the outside) before enjoying a leisurely walk through the adjacent gardens. Explore the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, where he once lived and worked. Don’t miss the One-Pillar Pagoda, a distinctive Hanoi landmark. Depending on the size of your group, this exploration can take between one to two hours.

Head back to the city center for some relaxation. As evening falls, attend a traditional water puppet show, a unique performance art that originated in the 11th century. This mesmerizing show, performed on water, offers a glimpse into Vietnamese folklore and daily life, often accompanied by traditional music.

Cruising from Halong to Lan Ha bay, swimming & kayaking, cooking class

9:00 AM: Get up at your lodging (in the Hanoi Old Quarter). Appreciate the over two hour drive from Hanoi to Lan Ha Inlet on the public roadway No5B. Your process will pass the series of towns and rice fields in the Red Stream Delta. Make a break for a drink and the bathroom. Continue driving until the harbor around noon, where the cruise reception will warmly welcome you.

12:00 PM: The group individuals from Peony Travels will invite you to Tuan Chau Port, Quang Ninh area.

12:30 PM: You will be taken on board our help vessel and travel from the wharf by means of the narrows to board our rich specialty, Peony Travels. An overview of the itinerary will be provided during this time.

1:00 PM: Welcome on board with new beverages and wet towels, trailed by an extraordinary lunch highlighting new food and a variety of mouth-watering luxuries. We then, at that point, set forth for Lan Ha Sound, an individual from the World's Most Lovely Narrows.

Exploring Trung Trang Cave, visiting Cat Ba National park, Transferring back to Hanoi for a flight to Danang - Hoi An

6:00 AM: Begin the day full of energy with a Tai Chi session and enjoy the sun as it rises beyond the horizon.

6:45 AM - 7:15 AM: Breakfast is served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty. (Breakfast time may be adjusted to follow the real itinerary).

7:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Join the tour of Cat Ba World Biosphere. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang cave – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba Island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.

9:30 AM: Return to the main boat from the cave, and you will check out of your cabin. Luggage is to be placed outside of the cabin.

Early Lunch is served at the restaurant. Settle any bar bills at the restaurant's desk (if any).

10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Disembark from the Peony Cruises and transfer back to Tuan Chau port.

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: You should be ready at Tuan Chau port.

Welcome by driver at the harbor then enjoy 2 and a half hour travel back to Hanoi on the new highway No5B crossing the Red River Delta and villages. Drop off at your hotel (in the Hanoi Old Quarter).

Private driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby (Hanoi Old Quarter) for about 45 minutes to Noi Bai airport (international or domestic hall according to your request). Thanks for the visit to our city.

Day 5 :
Hoi An

Discovering Hoi An rural by cycling and city walking tour

8:00 AM: Transfer from the hotel to the center of Hoian. First visit Cam Pho - one of the most seasoned common houses in Hoi An. It was constructed in the form of a Chinese character, indicating that it serves as a place of worship, trade, and cultural exchange between locals, Chinese, and Japanese traders.

Take a leisurely stroll to the Chua Cau, or Japanese Covered Bridge, which is the symbol of Hoi An. It was built in the 17th century to separate the Chinese neighborhoods from the Japanese quarter. Over the course of 400 years, the bridge's original design has been meticulously preserved.

Drenching into the existence of town, stroll through the town to Quan Thang ancient house - one of the most real old houses in Hoi A with the energetic and fine design and models were made by experts of renowned Kim Bong carpentry town in the oriental style. The house gives a good view of the day-to-day lives of the Hoi An family.

Before taking the ferry across the Thu Bon river to Kim Bong village, the next stop is the Phuc Kien, or Fujian Assembly Hall. On the boat, you will inundate yourselves into the agreeable outside air and partake in the untainted scenes on the two sides of the stream.

Woodcarving has long been a specialty in this village. The artisans initially acquired the skills from northern Vietnamese. They were later able to successfully adopt the techniques of Chinese and Japanese sculpture and cultivate their own style through business exchange. Bicycle around the town to comprehend their day to day existence and visit a craftsman's studio to respect their ability. Some souvenirs made of wood can be purchased.

Cycle on the trails all the way to Tra Nhieu village. Drench into the wide open in the focal point of Vietnam. The trip will give you the opportunity to meet Ms. Duoc about her mat weaving, Mr. Kha about making bamboo sampan baskets, and Mr. Huynh Ri about his shipyard for craftsmen. Along the way, you'll be surrounded by palm and rice fields, buffalo, and farmers working in the fields.

From Tra Nhieu, set off on a boat stumble on the Thu Bon Stream to Cam Thanh town. En route the scenes of fishing ranches and water palm trees will go with you. When you get to Cam Thanh, stop at the fisherman's house (Mr. Phong) appreciate green tea and foot knead with restorative spices that are established in the family garden. After that, prepare vegetables and herbs from Tra Que village and a brief demonstration of how to cook dishes like crispy pancakes (with meat, shrimp, and beansprouts), spring rolls from Hoi An, Tam Huu, and grilled fish wrapped in a banana leaf. In the early evening, leave a little round bamboo sampan container boat to the water palm trees woodland. After a long day of biking, this is a moment of relaxation.

At the end of the day, transfer back to the hotel.

Travelling to Hue, visiting Cham sculpture museum, Hai Van Pass, Thien Mu Pagoda and Hue citadel

8:00 AM: Get from inn then, at that point, travel to Hue by passing Da Nang along the ocean street. An amazing day tour to explore Perfurme River by boat trip, excursion to Tien Non, Thanh Tien, Sinh village, Khai Dinh King's Tomb.

8:00 AM: Move to Huong River (Perfume River) to leave an Imperial boat excursion to the towns in the East of the city. This is a chance to learn about the local culture on both sides of this beautiful river. Upon appearance in Tien Non town, land for a bicycle ride in the field through three towns: Tien Non, Thanh Tien and Sinh town. During the outing, you will be submerged into the day to day musicality of life in the towns.

In Tien Non town, meet the locals chipping away at the fields and vegetable nurseries. Then, go to a village family worship center. Then, arrive at Thanh Tien town, a fake paper blossom town going back 400 years. In addition to the rural works, they make paper flowers for the New Year's celebration to wish their ancestors well. Go to Mr. Hieu's family, one of the notable craftsmans in the town, to figure out how to make paper blossoms under his guidance. Continue onward to Sinh town, a support of long term old stories prints in Hue. Meet Mr. Phuoc, who will talk about how traditional prints are made. On this trip, you'll find lovely mementos to take home.

Afterward, return the boat to the city. In the afternoon, drive to Khai Dinh Ruler's burial place, worked for 11 years (1920 - 1931) on Chau Tru hill. The incorporation of elements from both the West and the East makes the tomb of Khai Dinh King stand out from those of other emperors. The worship palace at the top is reached after a climb of one hundred steps. The incredible decoration, which includes delightful porcelain fragments, a huge painting on the ceiling, and a small museum for royal objects next door are all here. The descent concludes with a panoramic view of the tomb and its surroundings. Visit end around 4:00 PM.
