Journey to Tan Trao – Ba Be Lake – 03 Days

Morning:
◾ Start your day with a journey to Tan Trao, a former Viet Minh resistance base during the first Indochina war.
◾ Upon arrival, explore the historic banyan tree, Na Lua shack house, and Tan Trao communal house. These sites were where President Ho Chi Minh and his team lived and worked before the August 1945 Revolution.
Noon:
◾ Continue on a less touristic journey through the Tay ethnic villages.
◾ Admire the traditional stilt houses set against tea plantation hills, palm plantations, and rice valleys.
◾ Visit these villages to interact with the friendly locals and learn about their way of life.
◾ Enjoy several stops to take photos of the stunning scenery along the way.
Afternoon:
◾ Arrive in Pac Ngoi village, the homeland of the Tay ethnic people, in the late afternoon.
◾ Immerse yourself in the local culture and lifestyle by exploring the village.
◾ Meet more locals and gain a deeper understanding of their traditions and customs.
Evening:
◾ For an authentic experience, consider staying at a local homestay.
◾ The homestay offers basic amenities, including a clean mattress, pillow, mosquito net, blankets, an outside WC, and a hot water shower.

Morning:
◾ Start your day with a relaxing boat trip along the Nang River. Transfer from the village to Buoc Lom Pier and embark on your scenic journey.
◾ Enjoy the beautiful scenery of forests lining the river as your boat passes through Puong Cave, home to thousands of bats. Continue towards Dau Dang Waterfall, taking in the serene and picturesque surroundings.
Noon:
◾ Enjoy a delicious lunch served at a local restaurant by the waterfall. Savor the local cuisine while soaking in the natural beauty of the area.
Afternoon:
◾ After lunch, take the boat back to the lake, stopping at the Fairy Pond located in the middle of the primitive forest.
◾ Gently cruise around the lake, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.
◾ If the weather permits, take a refreshing swim in the lake's clear waters.
◾ Disembark at around 4:00 PM and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Morning:

◾ Continue your journey into Ba Be National Park and visit Hua Ma Cave, located just 5 km from the village. This cave is an attractive spot with stunning formations of stalactites and stalagmites that are sure to amaze you.
◾ Return to Pac Ngoi village by 11:00 AM and meet your driver for the transfer back to Hanoi.
Optional Extension:
◾ If time permits and you are feeling adventurous, extend your cycling trip to the Silver Waterfall, which is an additional 4 km from Hua Ma Cave. This extra journey offers more beautiful scenery and a rewarding experience for those who enjoy physical activity.
Afternoon:
◾ Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Check in at your hotel and unwind after your mountain getaway.
