◾ Embark on an overnight traditional train journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai.

Morning:
◾ Begin exploring Bac Ha. Depending on the day, visit a vibrant ethnic market (Bac Ha market on Sunday, Coc Ly market on Tuesday, or Can Cau market on Saturday).
◾ Enjoy the lively atmosphere filled with a variety of goods such as vegetables, poultry, horses, and buffaloes.
◾ Observe minority groups dressed in their colorful traditional attire.

Mid-Morning:
◾ After the market visit, take a leisurely walk through picturesque ethnic villages.
◾ Experience the typical Bac Ha landscape with cornfields, cassava hills, clay houses, and plum gardens.

Noon:

Early Morning
◾ Depart for Sau Chua hamlet to begin a challenging but rewarding 15km trek.
◾ Trek up and down hills toward the hill-tribe village of Sa Seng.
◾ Experience the authentic lifestyle of the Black H’Mong people, who have been in Vietnam since the 11th century after originating from China.

Mid-Morning:
◾ Take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch or a meal at a local restaurant.
Late Morning:
◾ Continue trekking uphill along the mountainside for breathtaking views of Muong Hoa valley at an elevation of 1,800 meters.

Noon:
◾ Descend into the valley and trek to Hau Thao village, a small settlement with a few houses and a church on a rocky point.
◾ Take in the best scenery in the area, including rice terraces, small villages nestled in the Hoang Lien mountain range, and the peak of Fansipan (weather permitting).

Afternoon:
◾ Continue trekking down the trail to Muong Hoa valley.

Late Afternoon:
◾ Pick up by driver and transfer back to Sapa.

◾ This is a challenging trekking day. If needed, you can arrange for a 7-seat car to pick you up after completing three-quarters of the trek
