Itinerary

Early morning:
◾ Meet your guide and driver in Hanoi.
◾ Transfer to Muong Lo via Thanh Son.
◾ Drive along National Road 32 beside the Da River.

Mid-Morning:
◾ Visit a green tea plantation in Thanh Son.
◾ Walk through Muong stilt-house villages.

Noon:
◾ Arrive in Nghia Lo.
◾ Walk or bike around the Thai village to explore rice field valleys and traditional stilt houses.
Interact with the friendly locals.

Morning:
◾ Start your day with breakfast and a visit to a local market in Nghia Lo.
◾ Then, transfer to Mu Cang Chai via Tu Le.
◾ Mu Cang Chai is famed for its stunning rice terraces, which are considered among the most beautiful in the world.
◾ In 2007, the areas of Che Cu Nha, De Su Phinh, and La Pan Tan were designated as national heritage sites for their outdoor artistry.
Mid-Morning:
◾ Leaving Nghia Lo, traverse the hilly terrain inhabited by the Dao ethnic group. Pause to take photos and interact with the locals.
Late Morning:
◾ Arrive in Tu Le. Here, you can trek to the valley where the Thai people live in traditional stilt houses, offering a unique glimpse into their authentic way of life.
Afternoon:
◾ Continue to Khau Pha Pass, which provides a magnificent panoramic view of the rice terrace valley.
◾ Your journey then takes you to La Pan Tan, a legendary route beloved by photographers.

Mid-Morning:
◾ Before reaching Sapa, pause to explore Na Tam Village, where the Laotian and Lu people reside.
◾ This village is serene and picturesque.
◾ The local women are known for their distinctive black teeth and indigo clothing embellished with silver ornaments.
◾ Take a leisurely stroll around the village and engage with the locals.
Noon:
◾ Meet your driver for the onward journey to Sapa, crossing the majestic Hoang Lien Son pass (also known as O Quy Ho pass).
◾ This pass is the longest and highest in Vietnam, extending 54km and reaching an altitude of 2047m.
◾ Stop at the summit to admire the breathtaking scenery and take photos.
Afternoon:
◾ Arrive in Sapa, a town discovered by the French in 1903.
◾ With its mild climate, Sapa is a popular destination for its stunning rice valleys, impressive mountain ranges, and the rich cultural diversity of ethnic groups like the Black Hmong, Red Dao, and Dzay.

◾ Then transfer to Bac Ha via the scenic routes of Thanh Kim and Thanh Phu, with breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, and hydropower lakes.
◾ Perched at an elevation of 1000 meters, Bac Ha is home to diverse ethnic groups such as the colorful Hmong, Phu La, and Tay.
◾ The region is famed for its vibrant weekly markets set against a backdrop of wild and beautiful scenery, serving as a hub for trading goods and centuries-old cultural exchanges among ethnic groups.
