Itinerary

Morning:
◾ Depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, driving through the picturesque countryside of the Red River Delta, adorned with rice and vegetable fields.
◾ Biking or Walking in Thung La: Upon arrival, embark on a 15 km bike ride (optional) or walk through the charming villages. As you journey along the dyke, you'll be treated to breathtaking landscapes of rice fields, a river, and limestone mountains. Make several stops to snap beautiful photos or engage with the locals.
◾ Thung La Temple: Walk to discover Thung La Temple, dating back to the 11th century. Meet Mr. Tuong, the temple guardian, and enjoy an authentic conversation along with a 20-minute drum performance.
Afternoon:
◾ Van Long Nature Reserve: Take a sampan boat trip along the stream and through the limestone mountains to explore the stunning Van Long Nature Reserve. If you’re lucky, you might spot white monkeys and egrets on the cliffs.
◾ Embroidery Village: After the boat trip, visit an embroidery village and participate in an embroidery course under the guidance of local craftswoman, Mrs. Lam. She will proudly explain the techniques of her traditional craft, giving you the opportunity to practice on fabric like a real artisan.
◾ Note: Wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. The biking distance can be adjusted to suit your preference.
