Day 2 :
Danang

Well-known Marble mountain, Cham Sculpture museum, Son Tra peninsula, Linh Ung pagoda

8:00 AM: Start from your hotel to Marble Mountain which is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Da Nang. It resembles five fingers rising out of the ground and named after the basic elements of the universe: water, wood, metal, fire and earth. The tour consists of exploring the mysterious Tang Chon, Huyen Khong and Am Phu caves with pagodas and temples inside, hiking up the very scenic viewpoint where the Emperors of Nguyen dynasty often prioritized for visiting.

Stroll around the Non Nuoc village that located at the base of the mountain specialize in marble sculpture, admire amazing products of the creativity and skillful hands. Take your time to collect your favor souvenirs.

Come back to city, visit the world’s largest collection of Cham artifacts. The museum displays over 300 terracotta, sandstone, bronze sculptures and artifacts depict Hindu Gods, as well as Linga and Yoni. It is also enriched an extra exhibition of modern Cham culture, including photographs, clothing and videos. The collection is the evidence of the golden time of the Champa Kingdom which lasted from 4th to 13th century in the center coastal areas of Vietnam.

In the afternoon, travel from Da Nang through Thuan Phuoc Bridge – the Vietnam’s longest suspension bridge, head north to Son Tra peninsula where truly satisfies your expectations of the beautiful views. Stop for great pictures of Man Thai fishing village which is well-known for fresh sea food and making fish sauce.

Keep your way toward to Linh Ung pagoda with the highest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Vietnam (67 meters high). Leisurely walk in marble sculpture and bonsai garden, enjoy the stunning views of ocean and city with its white sandy beaches.

On the beautiful days, it is worth to drive on steep slopes path with a cliff side of ocean to Ban Co peak. Immersing into beautiful nature, pure air, particular vision and meditate your mind in peace before driving back to city.

The world’s impressive cable car, French colonist style complex, Golden Bridge, Fantasy Park

8:00 AM: Start from your hotel to have a full day visit to Ba Na hill complex. Located at 1478m high above the sea level and 25 km to the west of Da Nang, Ba Na Hill has a year round cool climate which makes it an ideal resort since French colonist time. On arrival, take 20 minutes of the world’s impressive cable car in order to reach the peak of Ba Na hill and observe the beautiful scenery.

Arrive at the station, take a visit to pagoda with giant Buddha statue, green gardens of multiple kinds of flora and flower interleaved by French architecture buildings and wine storages. Leisurely walk on the World’s top ten impressive architecture bridges – Golden Bridge. Immerse into the stunning views of national park, waterfall, ocean and city in remote distance which can hardly found in other regions.

Enjoy the entertainments in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games before getting transfer back to city.

Hoi An ancient city tour: Cam Pho, Chua Cau, Quan Thang ancient house, Phuc Kien assembly hall

At 8:00 AM, pick you up from your hotel for a trip to Hoi An ancient town. Upon arrival, begin by visiting Cam Pho, one of the oldest communal houses in Hoi An. Its architecture, shaped like a Chinese character symbolizing trade and cultural exchange between locals and Chinese and Japanese traders, reflects its historical significance.
Take a leisurely walk to Hoi An's iconic symbol, the Chua Cau or Japanese Covered Bridge, built in the 17th century to connect the Japanese quarter with Chinese neighborhoods. Its original design, preserved for over 400 years, stands as a testament to the town's rich heritage.

Continue to Quan Thang ancient house, celebrated for its intricate architecture and sculptures crafed in the oriental style by artisans from Kim Bong carpentry village. This house offers a glimpse into daily life in Hoi An.

Proceed to Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly Hall, established in the 17th century as a gathering place for Fujian residents, traders, and visitors. It also serves as a religious site dedicated to Thien Hau, featuring colorful courtyard fountains, ornate gates, and beautifully carved dragons in the main hall.

After lunch, enjoy free time for city exploration and shopping. On the return trip to Da Nang, make a brief stop at Tra Que organic vegetable village for a short tour.

Admiring the Hai Van Pass, excursion to the Hue ancient capital, Khai Dinh tomb, Hue Citadel

At 8:00 AM, begin your day with a hotel pickup and head north from Da Nang towards the Sea Cloud or Hai Van Pass. This scenic route winds through verdant hills, offering breathtaking views of the sea and its pristine beaches. Upon reaching the pass summit, visit Hai Van Quan, historically a pivotal border point between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Champa, and later a strategic location during the American War. Take a moment to admire the panoramic vistas that even impressed King Le Thanh Tong during his visit in the 15th century.

Continue your journey to Hue, where you'll explore Khai Dinh King's tomb, nestled on Chau Tru hill and constructed over an 11-year period (1920-1931). This tomb stands out with its blend of oriental and western architectural influences. Climb the hundred steps to reach the palace at the top, adorned with exquisite porcelain fragments, a grand ceiling painting, and a museum showcasing royal artifacts. Descending provides a sweeping view of the tomb and its scenic surroundings.

After lunch, delve into Hue Citadel, a symbolic remnant of Vietnam's imperial past, designed reminiscent of Vauban's fortifications. The citadel is divided into three sections: Kinh Thanh (the Capital City), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial City), and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City). Explore notable landmarks such as the flag tower, South gate, Palace of Supreme Harmony, Dynasty temple area, and residential quarters.
Conclude your day by returning to Da Nang, where you can unwind at your leisure.
