Begin your adventure with a pick-up at Jun Village in Lak Lake. (If you are staying in Buon Ma Thuot, we will start at 4:00 and travel 52 km southeast along National Route 27 towards Dalat City to reach Lak Lake.)
Lak Lake is the second-largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam, following Ba Be Lake in the northwest. Situated in Dak Lak province and fed by the Krong Ana River, Lak Lake spans 5 square kilometers and is surrounded by M'nong villages, lush green mountains, and dense forests.
Early Morning:
Embark on a journey through scenic fields to the forest. Here, you'll meet a mahout who will introduce you to the daily activities of elephants and share the customs and traditions of the M'nong hill tribe. Accompany the mahout as they find the elephants and follow them on a walk through the forest, providing an unforgettable elephant experience.
Assist the mahout in washing and cleaning the elephants. Feed the elephants bananas and learn how to fit the seats for their day of work. Capture memorable photos with the mahout, the elephants, and your group.
Mid-Morning:
Enjoy a dugout canoe trip on Lak Lake, soaking in the tranquil beauty of the water and the surrounding landscape. Experience the local life at Jun Village.
