Morning:
◾Our friendly tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi.
◾Begin our journey to Da Bac, a hidden gem about 100 km southwest of Hanoi. Nestled in the mountains of Hoa Binh province, Da Bac is renowned for its breathtaking natural landscapes and remote hill tribe villages. This destination is perfect for those seeking an authentic off-the-beaten-path experience.
Midday:
◾After a scenic drive through the north-western Vietnamese countryside, we will arrive at Sung Village, home to the Dzao Tien minority people. The village, with around 78 households and 400 residents, relies mainly on farming and forest plantations for their livelihoods.
◾Embark on a delightful 3 km walk to explore the village. This walk will lead you to various points of interest, including the Sung Cave and the surrounding forest.
Afternoon:
◾Your local guide will share fascinating stories and insights into identifying different plant varieties, some of which have medicinal properties.
◾Stop at the community house where locals teach the traditional Dao language to younger generations, preserving this crucial cultural aspect.
◾Return to the village and visit a family workshop to learn the art of printing textures using beeswax and uncover the indigo dyeing process.

Trekking from Sung to Da Bia, Kayaking on Da Reservoir, and Learning About Muong Culture
Morning:
◾Begin your adventure with an 8 km trek from Sung to Da Bia.
◾Start on a small concrete road for the first 4 km, then turn onto a narrow trail leading through the lush forest.
◾The trail descends for about an hour from 530 m altitude to 400 m, ascends slightly to 500 m, and then continuously descends to 120 m at the local boat pier.
Midday:
◾Note: The final four kilometers are on land and may get quite slippery in case of rain. If needed, the trail might be adjusted, or an alternative route will be recommended.
Afternoon:
◾Hop on a boat to reach Da Bia, where your kayaking adventure begins.
◾Explore Da Bia Lake, part of the Da Reservoir, and get a glimpse into the lives of local fishermen as you paddle through the serene waters.
◾Learn about the Muong culture and traditions from the local community, enriching your understanding of their way of life.

Afternoon:
◾Our driver will be waiting for you at Ngoi Hoa Harbor.
