Trekking in Yokdon national park – 01 Day

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and head towards Yok Don National Park, located 40 km west of Buon Ma Thuot, near the Cambodia border.

Yok Don National Park, Vietnam's largest nature reserve, covers 115,000 hectares of predominantly dry open forest with dipterocarps. The park extends to the Cambodian border, with the picturesque Srepok River flowing through it.

Arrival: Upon arrival, visit the park office for an introduction to Yok Don's history, flora, and fauna.

Tour Options:
Option 1: Trekking Adventure
Morning: Embark on an 8 km trek to the Buddha Cascade, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Relax and have a picnic lunch at the Ranger Station.
Early Afternoon: Continue trekking to the river, cross by boat, and visit Jang Lanh village and its cemetery.
Late Afternoon: Enjoy a 30-minute elephant ride before heading back to Buon Ma Thuot. On the way, stop to explore coffee and pepper gardens and visit Khai Doan Pagoda.

Option 2: Cycling Expedition
Morning: Start cycling through the forest, covering an 8 km route to the Buddha Cascade for a swim and picnic lunch at the Ranger Station.
Early Afternoon: Cycle to Daklau Stream, then return to the park office.
Late Afternoon: Visit Jang Lanh village and its cemetery, followed by a 30-minute elephant ride. Return to Buon Ma Thuot, stopping to explore coffee and pepper farms and visit Khai Doan Pagoda.
End of Day:
