Welcome to Hanoi, enjoy a walking tour in the old quarter

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a professional local guide and driver at the arrivals gate. Enjoy a 45-minute drive to the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, during which your guide will provide insights into the city's top attractions, cultural highlights, traffic patterns, and local cuisine.
Upon reaching your hotel, check in and take some time to relax and refresh. Please note that the standard check-in time is 2:00 PM.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you on a leisurely walk around the serene Hoan Kiem Lake. Explore the area and visit significant landmarks such as the statue of King Ly Thai To and the historic Vietnamese Government Guest House, now known as the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi.

Afterward, stroll through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, taking in the lively atmosphere and unique charm of the area. Return to your hotel at your own pace and enjoy the rest of your evening.

Day 2 :
Hanoi

Visiting the city's highlights, travelling to French Quarter, Ho Chi Minh complex, leisurely walk by the West Lake

9:00 AM: Meet your local guide and begin your exploration with a visit to the Temple of Literature, a historical site established during the Ly Dynasty in the 11th century. This revered site was dedicated to Confucius and served as a center for educating imperial children. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the garden, taking in the iconic Khue Van Cac, which stands as a symbol of the city.

Next, explore the World Heritage "stone steles" that commemorate outstanding scholars from history. Continue your visit to the Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first national university, and delve into its rich historical significance.

Afterwards, choose one of Hanoi’s notable museums for an enriching experience. Options include the National Museum of History, Hoa Lo Prison Museum, the Museum of Ethnology, or the Fine Arts Museum. Following your museum visit, take a break for lunch or a refreshing drink at your leisure (costs are on your own).

In the afternoon, wander through the French Quarter, often likened to a "little Paris" with its tree-lined streets, grand government buildings, and expansive squares.

Next, visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from the outside) and then stroll through the nearby botanical gardens to the Presidential Palace. Continue to Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, where he resided and worked.

Proceed to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a significant symbol of Hanoi. Depending on the size of your group, you might spend one to two hours exploring this site.

Next, head to Quan Thanh Temple, one of the four principal temples in Hanoi, dating back to the 11th century under King Ly Thai To. This temple is dedicated to Tran Vu, a key deity in Taoism.

Enjoy a leisurely walk along a scenic street that borders West Lake, offering picturesque views of the city. Stop by Tran Quoc Pagoda, which dates back to the 6th century during the Ly Nam De Dynasty.
Conclude your day with a captivating water puppet show, a unique cultural performance that dates back to the 11th century. The show features puppets floating on water, depicting Vietnamese culture, beliefs, and daily life, often accompanied by traditional music.

8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: A driver will pick you up from your Hanoi Old Quarter hotel or from our Shuttle Bus stop if you’re staying outside the Old Quarter (extra fee required). We’ll embark on a picturesque drive to Halong City, which takes around 2.5 to 3 hours with a potential restroom stop.

11:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in at the lounge.

12:00: Board the cruise ship, where you’ll be welcomed with drinks and given a brief orientation. Check into your cabin and get ready for lunch.

12:30: Enjoy a meal of Vietnamese and international dishes while cruising through Halong Bay, passing by sights like the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Islet, and Three Coconuts Island.

14:30: Head to the Pearl Farm for a kayaking experience and get a closer look at Halong Bay’s natural beauty.

16:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Grotte des Surprising, the largest cave in the area. Admire the fascinating stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over centuries. (Proper footwear is advised for potentially wet conditions.)

17:45: Return to the boat and enjoy Happy Hour at the bar (buy 2, get 1 free).

19:30: Delight in a gourmet dinner featuring a variety of traditional and fusion dishes prepared by our chefs.

21:00: After dinner, relax at the bar and spa, try squid fishing, watch a movie in your cabin, play cards or chess, or simply relax on the sundeck.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina and say your farewells to the crew.

Return to Hanoi and then head to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel in the city center.

8:30 AM: Start your day with a short transfer from your hotel to Binh Tay Market, located in Saigon's lively Chinatown. As the city's largest market, Binh Tay is a bustling hub where you can browse through an array of stalls selling clothing, souvenirs, and a wide variety of local foods. Take the opportunity to sample some traditional street food at the market's food court.

Next, visit Quan Am Pagoda, one of the oldest and most significant pagodas in Saigon. Dedicated to Guan Yin, the goddess of mercy, this pagoda showcases traditional Taoist elements and local veneration practices.

Continue your exploration at the FITO Museum, dedicated to traditional Vietnamese medicine. Discover an impressive collection of ancient herbal remedies, magical elixirs, and unique medical instruments that reflect the rich history of Vietnamese healing practices.

As you cruise down the river, you'll reach Nhon Thanh Village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to sample fresh, local fruits and immerse yourself in the rural ambiance. Afterward, hop on a bicycle or tuk-tuk for a leisurely ride through the village paths. Enjoy the scenic views of coconut groves, rice paddies, and vegetable gardens as you explore the area.

For lunch, savor a traditional meal featuring elephant ear fish, a local delicacy, served in the heart of the village. Following lunch, take a short walk to further discover the local way of life.

Conclude your day with a serene boat ride along a narrow canal shaded by lush palm trees. This peaceful journey will offer a tranquil end to your Mekong Delta experience.

Transferring to airport for flights to next destinations
