My Son Morning with Boat Trip - Small Group Tour

This half day cultural tour (6 hours) centres on My Son Sanctuary — the spiritual and political capital of the ancient Champa Kingdom, set in a misty valley about 48 km from Hoi An. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, its brick Hindu towers were built between the 7th and 13th centuries. The route links My Son Sanctuary, Local rice-paper village and Thu Bon River at a calm, well-paced rhythm.

You travel with a small group (max 14 travellers) with an English-speaking guide, departing from your Hoi An hotel. Access to the sanctuary is by electric car and a short walk, so the focus stays on the temples, the Cham performances and the surrounding landscape.

Good to know

Central Vietnam is best visited February–August, when the weather is dry and warm; the rainy season runs September–November. My Son is most pleasant early in the morning or late afternoon when it is cooler and quieter. Dress modestly for the temples (covered shoulders and knees) and bring sun protection and comfortable walking shoes. Small-group departures are capped at 14 travellers.
